Look at this painting.

What do you see?

It looks like a simple bowl filled with many types of vegetables.

But, if you turn this painting upside down, you see a different picture.

The bowl becomes a hat, and the vegetables make the shape of a man's smiling face.

This unique style of painting was created by Giuseppe Arcimboldo, who was an artist during the Renaissance.

이 독특한 방식의 그림은 르네상스 시대의 예술가인 주세페 아르침볼도에 의해 만들어졌다.

During this period, artists usually painted either objects or portraits of people.

이 시기에, 예술가들은 보통 사물 아니면 사람들의 초상화를 그렸다.

Arcimboldo combined these two styles.

Arcimboldo arranged the objects in his paintings to look like people's faces.

If you look at one of his paintings from far away, you might see the picture of a human figure.
