Our Pretty Classroom!

예쁜 우리 교실!

Our class is making a special mural.

우리 반은 특별한 벽화를 만들고 있어요.

We use twigs, leaves, and seeds from a forest.

우리는 숲으로부터 얻은 잔가지, 나뭇잎, 씨앗들을 이용해요.

First, we spread blue paint on a big piece of paper.

우선, 우리는 파란 페인트를 큰 종이 위에 색칠해요.

With twigs, we make a tree trunk and branches.

그러고 나서, 우리는 잔가지들로 나무 몸통과 나뭇가지들을 만들어요.

We also put red leaves on the branches.

우리는 또한 붉은색 나뭇잎들을 나뭇가지에 붙여요.

With yellow leaves, we make butterflies.

노란색 나뭇잎들로, 우리는 나비들을 만들어요.

We decorate their wings with seeds.

우리는 씨앗들로 그것들의 날개를 장식해요.

Now we are done!

이제 우리는 끝마쳤어요!

Our classroom looks pretty now.

우리 교실이 이제 예뻐 보이네요.

We feel like we are in a forest!

우리는 숲에 있는 것 같은 기분이 들어요!

A Student Meeting

학생 회의

Today there is a student meeting.

오늘은 학생 회의가 있어요.

Many students come.

많은 학생들이 오네요.

Tina leads the meeting.

Tina가 회의를 이끌어요.

“Welcome,” she says.

“환영해요”라고 그녀가 말해요.

“What problems does our school have?

“우리 학교에는 어떤 문제들이 있나요?

And how can we fix them?”

그리고 우리는 그것들을 어떻게 고칠 수 있을까요?”

Many students discuss their ideas.

많은 학생들이 자신들의 생각들을 이야기해요.

Tom says, “We don’t have many fun books in the library.

Tom은 “우리는 도서관에 재미있는 책들이 많지 않아요.

How about getting some comic books?”

만화책들을 비치하는 게 어떨까요?”라고 말해요.

Mia says, “Some chairs in the cafeteria are broken.

Mia는 “구내 식당에 있는 몇몇 의자들은 부러졌어요.

How about fixing them?”

그것들을 고치는 게 어떨까요?”라고 말해요.

Tina makes notes.

Tina가 기록을 해요.

“Great ideas,” she says.

“좋은 생각이에요”라고 그녀가 말해요.

“Let’s share them with our teachers!”

“그것들을 우리 선생님들과 공유합시다!”

Curious About Food

음식에 대해 궁금한

Ron is having lunch.

Ron은 점심을 먹고 있어요.

He is eating bread and a cheese omelet.

그는 빵과 치즈 오믈렛을 먹고 있어요.

He is curious about his food.

그는 자신의 음식에 대해 호기심이 많아요.

“Mom, what is bread made from?” he asks.

“엄마, 빵은 무엇으로 만들어지나요?”라고 그가 물어요.

His mom answers, “Bread is made from flour.

그의 엄마는 “빵은 (곡물의) 가루로 만들어진단다.

Flour is wheat powder.”

가루는 밀가루야”라고 대답해요.

Then Ron asks, “Then how about this cheese omelet?”

그러자 Ron이 “그러면 이 치즈 오믈렛은요?”라고 물어요.

His mom answers,

그의 엄마는 대답해요.

“It is made from eggs and cheese. Hens lay eggs.

“그것은 달걀과 치즈로 만들어진단다. 닭이 달걀을 낳아.

But cheese is made from milk. Milk comes from cows.”

하지만 치즈는 우유로 만들어져. 우유는 젖소로부터 온단다”

Ron nods and smiles.

Ron은 고개를 끄덕이고 미소 지어요.

He found out some interesting things!

그는 몇 가지 흥미로운 것들을 알았어요!

The Golden Duck

황금 오리

Lutek is a poor shoemaker.

Lutek은 가난한 구두장이에요.

One day, he touches a golden duck.

어느 날, 그는 황금 오리를 만져요.

Surprisingly, it becomes a princess!

놀랍게도, 그것은 공주가 되요!

She says, “Spend this money.

그녀는 “이 돈을 쓰세요.

Buy things only for you.

오직 당신을 위해 물건들을 사세요.

Then I will give you treasure.”

그러면 제가 당신에게 보물을 줄게요”라고 말해요.

Lutek buys expensive things.

Lutek은 값 비싼 물건들을 사요.

But he still has money.

하지만, 그에게는 여전히 돈이 있어요.

Then he passes through a poor village.

그러고 나서 그는 한 가난한 마을을 지나가요.

He feels bad for the people.

그는 그 사람들에게 안쓰러움을 느껴요.

He gives them all his money.

그는 자신의 돈 전부를 그들에게 줘요.

Now he cannot have the treasure.

이제 그는 보물을 가질 수가 없어요.

But later, many people visit Lutek and buy his shoes.

하지만 나중에, 많은 사람들이 Lutek을 방문하여 그의 신발들을 사요.

Lutek becomes rich!

Lutek은 부자가 되요!
