Animal or Plant?

동물인가요 식물인가요?

Most living things are divided into two groups: plants and animals.

대부분의 생물들은 두 그룹으로 나뉘어요: 식물과 동물이에요.

But these plants could belong to both groups.

그러나 이 식물들은 두 그룹에 모두 속할 수 있어요.

The parrot flower mainly grows in Thailand.

앵무새 꽃은 주로 태국에서 자라요.

Its sepal is the beak, and its petals form the parrot’s body.

그것의 꽃받침은 부리이고, 그것의 꽃잎들은 앵무새의 몸을 이뤄요.

From the side, it looks like a flying parrot.

The monkey orchid is found in Ecuador, Colombia, and Peru.

An Evil Greek God

A typhoon is a violent tropical storm.

It can cause great damage.

Its name comes from Typhon, the father of all monsters.

Saving Our Seeds

A seed vault is an amazing place.

Inside are thousands of different seeds.

But why do we need so many of them?

The reason is that our crops are sensitive.
