Diving is my favorite Olympic sport.

다이빙은 내가 가장 좋아하는 올림픽 스포츠에요.

Divers jump from the springboard.

다이빙 선수는 다이빙대에서 뛰어올라요.

They do flips, turns, and twists in the air.

그들은 공중에서 뒤집고, 돌고, 비틀어요.

Then they finally dive into the pool.

그리고 마지막으로 수영장 안으로 뛰어 들어요.

Good divers enter the pool gracefully.

실력 있는 다이빙 선수는 우아하게 수영장에 들어가요.

They should not splash too much water.

그들은 너무 많은 물을 튀기면 안돼요.

This is very difficult.

이게 아주 어려워요.

Sometimes, two divers take off at the same time.

때때로 두 명의 다이빙 선수가 동시에 뛰어내려요.

They have to do the exact same moves in the air.

그들은 공중에서 정확히 똑 같은 동작을 해야 해요.

Also, they should touch the water at the same time.

또, 물에도 동시에 닿아야 해요.

I think this is impossible!

저는 이게 불가능하다고 생각해요!

But good Olympic divers can do it.

하지만 실력 있는 올림픽 다이빙 선수들은 할 수 있어요.

These athletes are amazing.

이 선수들은 정말 대단해요.

There are many animals on Earth.

지구에는 많은 동물들이 있어요.

Some of them are extinct now.

그들 중 일부는 이제 멸종됐어요.

They will never come back.

그들은 다시는 돌아오지 않을 거에요.

Why do some animals become extinct?

왜 어떤 동물들은 멸종되어 버릴까요?

It’s because humans hunt them.

사람들이 그들을 사냥하기 때문이에요.

Balinese tigers were from Indonesia.

발리 호랑이는 인도네시아 출신이에요.

They lived in the forests.

그들은 숲에서 살았어요.

But humans cut down the trees.

하지만 사람들이 나무를 잘라냈어요.

So the tigers lost their homes.

그래서 호랑이들은 그들의 서식지를 잃었어요.

Dodos were birds.

도도는 새였어요.

They lived in Mauritius.

그들은 모리셔스에 살았어요.

These birds couldn’t fly.

이 새들은 날 수 없었어요.

So it was easy to trap them.

그래서 그들을 잡기가 쉬웠어요.

Sailors hunted and ate them.

선원들은 그들을 사냥해서 먹었어요.

Other animals are in danger now.

다른 동물들도 지금 위험에 처해 있어요.
